Twilight: A Critical Analysis by ~generalmeldor:icongeneralmeldor:

Why Twilight Sucks Compared to the Legend of Meldor

I. Character Development:

Twilight:

Very little development on the characters of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan.  Any minor characters are merely mentioned while most of the minimal development focuses around Edward and Bella and most of that development is about how ferking beautiful and perfect Edward Cullen is.

The Legend of Meldor:

Sure, Meldor is not perfect, but at least we are able to see a significant change in his personality over the course of TLOM.  In the beginning, he seems confident that he can take on the entire world, but later, he becomes more serious and  sometimes skeptical regarding Tarsis’ orders.  After his death, he returns as a devoted father.  Lydia, though somewhat dependant, actually fell in love with Meldor, who eventually became her husband.  She has power, though small, she eventually is the queen of the Nevadian throne.

II. Plot:

Twilight:

FERKING NONE!  The only possible plot that there is, are many small plots that do not make sense as a whole.  The whole idea is that Bella falls in love with Sir Sparkles-a-Lot and has a hell spawn of a daughter.  That is all I can say on this plot lacking novel.

The Legend of Meldor:

The plot is there, but it is fairly repetitive, this I know and I am improving it constantly.  Meldor destroys some temples for half the novel and then dies.  The plot is the hardest part for me to write about.  I have done a decent effort, but I have also left room to grow.

III. Heroes:

Twilight:

There are two main characters in Twilight, at least those who got the development.  They are Edward Cullen and Bella Swan.  Edward Cullen is a vampire that has properties that are not even close to a traditional vampire.  He FERKING SPARKLES!  What the hell is his problem, vampires die in sunlight, yet he shines like the disco ball at my high school prom.  His hair is bronze and he looks like a marble statue.  Someone was drunk when they wrote Twilight.  Bella Swan is some dumb broad who moves to Forks, Washington.  She has basically no character development except for the fact that she complains about basically everything and falls in love with an undead pedophile.  She becomes a vampire (wtf?) in order to raise her little hell spawn which should have never walked the earth in the first place.

The Legend of Meldor:

Meldor and Lydia are my main characters.  Meldor, though reluctant at first, accepts his quest to save the Goddess of Fire from the pits of Deadikus.  He seems to spiritually sacrifice a little part of him every time he destroys a temple, but we never really see it.  His sacrifice can only be topped by his self destruction in order to kill Melkor and the entire Army of Darkness.  He eventually becomes the God of Fire and the World of Nevadi becomes safe once again.  Lydia, an elf who was banished for refusing to marry another elf in an arranged marriage, is my main female character.  When she met Meldor in the forest, it was love at first sight.  This may seem cheesy, but it really has a deeper connection because her prayers are what got Meldor through the temples and Deadikus with Ashura.  She handled his sacrifice well and gave birth to their son, who he helped to raise.  She then becomes the Queen of Nevadi.

IV. Villains:

Twilight:

The Volturi, wow, THREE vampires and thirty two guards.  Sense the sarcasm yet?  There will be quite a lot here.  Aro, can read the minds of anyone he has come in contact with.  Well good for you, Aro, you’re a ferking psychic.  Marcus, how pathetic are you for only having the power to sense relationships?   We even have to deal with the vampire mafia!  Let us not forget James, the hunter vampire of humans for sport.  He has the makings of a serial killer.  Look out world; it’s the next Ted Bundy!

The Legend of Meldor:

The Deadians are by far the most villainous characters that anyone could ask for.  Apocalypta is by far the strongest female character in the Legend of Meldor, but she could be nowhere with out her FOURTEEN equally powerful siblings.  She has created the land of Everdeath, is the Queen of the Dark Masters, the fifteen deities of Everdeath, and through her dark power, she corrupts Melkor into her dark order.  Melkor, unlike James, kills his enemies because it is willed by his mother and therefore has somewhat of a purpose as a villain.  Regarding his army, he has one hundred million soldiers of demonic varieties, as well as shades, skeletons, and other evil creatures.   The other villain that I have is Necara, Queen of the Necromancers and Melkor’s brother.  She seems to have dependence on Melkor, but actually worries for him.
