The Death of MeldorChapter 19: The Death of Meldor   
Lydia watched her husband maintaining the barrier that was preventing millions of demonic soldiers from storming the portal to Nevadi.  Only Meldor and Lydia were left of the soldiers that went to fight.   
Meldor turned his head to her and said, "Lydia, go through the portal, get back to Nevadi!"   
"No, Meldor, on our wedding day, I promised to defend you until my own death." She said in protest.   
"And I promised to defend you, and that is what I am doing.  If you leave now, you are not only saving yourself, you are saving our son." He said as i The Death of Meldor

Never AgainNever Again: The Death of Samuel Chase   
Ashes, ashes and snow, these were the two effects of a total nuclear winter.  All Samuel Chase could see was white. He wore battle armor, a gas mask, and was armed to the teeth.  He also wore his sith robes, if he was to die, he would die with honor.   
With him were his ten thousand armored guards, they were all ultra elites with white armor and camouflaged well with the snow and ash.  They still decided to cloak themselves however.   
They had landed on the plains of the former United States, before it became the base country for the United Never Again

It is Materiel from Neon Genesis Evangelion. It is a spider-like alien that has a lot of eyes on its body and drips acid. My favorite alien from NGE.
